"None" missing from Lock Screen.

My lock screen came set for "Swipe" out of the box, and from the beginning the option for "None" was missing.

I've contacted Sony (so far they are absolutely no help) and scoured the internet.  Here are the suggestions I've tried that have failed:

Restart phone (of course).

Create and delete Guest account.

Delete credentials.

Software repair (suggested by Sony) and factory reset.

Updated software.

I hate having to swipe every time I want in and I hate it, and also I hate it.  Someone solve my problem kk luvuguyz.

Do you have an exchange account email set up on the device? I believe these have a security requirement that the device must lock.

I don't have an exchange account, no.

Months later, dozens of contact-us emails sent, still being talked to like it's an unknown issue, still having to swipe to unlock this thing.

And no one else cares, and no one knows if they ever plan to fix in a software update?
