screen won't lock during a call

Since the last software update when I make a call the phone will not screen lock. It has also happened to my missus z1 as well. Have removed screen protector just to make sure but no change.
Any one have a similar problem?

Just booted both phones in safe mode and problem stopped. Turned back on as normal and all working fine. Just a glitch then I assume. Thanks alexdon.

Great,it might have been a glitch or a 3rd party app acting up.
