Setting SD card as default saving location

I have xperia z5 compact. I choose the SD card as default memory but app can not record on SD card. I am really unhappy. I also use deezer and want to download more music but I can not because internal storage is not enough. Please help.

Hi @RecepGezer_19,

You can set your SD card as the default location for pictures and videos you take with your camera. To do so go to: Camera > Tap the cogwheel > More > Data storage > SD card.

For installing apps the internal storage will always be the default storage, there is no setting to change this. For some apps you can change where the app stores information, according to Deezer website for example you can change where Deezer saves information. To do so:

  1. Navigate to My Music
  2. Tap on the Settings icon > App Settings
  3. Scroll down to Disk Usage
  4. Click Change Storage

For more information about how to change the storage options for Deezer, I recommend that you contact their support directly.

There is an option in your device to move information from the internal storage to your SD card. You will find it under: Settings > Storage > Transfer data to SD card. If all the options are greyed out, there is nothing on your internal memory that can be move to the SD card.

Let me know if this helps. Slightly_smiling_Face
