USB OTG does not work

Devices are detected by the phone but do not run. For instance a Seek thermal camera that used to run on my Z1 does not work. It is detected by apps such as Easy OTG checker. I've followed the steps in Settings-> Xperia connectivity

Same problem here but worse... I bought the OGT to access my data because I have a broken touchscreen. How am I supposed to enable the USB scan now? The screen has just one crack and I don't even know how it happend (bad quality?). Can someone from SONY Support give ma a good advice on how to proceed? Many thanks in advance!!!!

@BeatHueb

I understand the frustration, connect the USB OTG cable > connect the mouse > restart the phone

I'm having the same problem.  I have several OTG adapters and devices all of which work fine on my xperia z2 tablet and z3 smartphone, but on the z3+ it won't detect any of them.  I've tried rebooting the device while the otg was connected.  I've select the "Detect USB Device" option and it runs for about 30-60 seconds and then always says no device found.

I really like my z3 but I wish it had more internal storage because I'm always getting the 85% warning and I have to select to transfer apps to the sd card.  I picked up a z3+ for cheap because it had 32GB I figured it would be a smooth transition.  Instead if feels like the z3+ is a downgrade.

Hi All.

Sony Z5 with broken screen (impossible to unlock it by usual way). The solution was to connect mouse via OTG cable and reboot the phone.

Hope it helps.
