Ive just noticed this issue on my month old z3. People can hear me fine if i talk using the earpiece, but the moment i switch to speaker, my voice sounds distant, or I cant be heard at all. Ive tried factory reset, but no luck.
You hace an app blocking the Mic while calling, it can be any audio recording app, and sometimes it's caused by OK Google detection from any screen. Try to disable either of them and check again.
Hi @KazIRahman
I suggest to boot your device in safe mode and check if the issue persists:

I hope can be useful and I'm at disposal for any question.
Best Regards,
I had the problem that the mic in my headset did not work all of a sudden during a call.
When i turned on the speaker, then turned it off again, the mic worked and the person on the other end could hear me again.
As suggested by other ppl here, i turned off google now "OK Google detection from any screen", and voila the mic worked as supposed to again.
So for me it was that ok google detection blocked the mic some how.
I could also point out that i use googles own launcher not the sony one.
/P
Hi @Julhasfi
This problem is caused by some applications that are installed. You could try to turned off google now "OK Google detection from any screen" or could be for the call recording app as another users report.
If this issue persists, reboot your device in safe mode to see if the problem disappear:

Best Regards,
Some app might be interfering with your mic during calls, it can be a call recorder app mostly. Sometimes it's caused when you enable "OK Google" detection from any screen.
