Strange Icon, bottom right corner. Can't uninstall. Directs me to Yahoo! Finance. Not in App list. Not in App permissions.

have you checked your Google Play app to see if you've got pending apps installation or updates?
can you try to long press the icon to see if it takes you the app settings and you can uninstall it from there.
try to boot to safe mode by long pressing the power button , check if the icon is still there.
