Playback of 2160p content on YouTube will stutter and freeze even though the audio is playing fine in the background. Sometimes I get this with Prime and Disney+ too, but I have no idea what the cause is. I have checked my connection settings and run various speedtests directly from the television and my connection speed and quality is well beyond the minimum requirements for 4K content.
I don't know what the solution is to this as I have done some searching on Google and I get lots of suggestions that don't really tell me anything more than to update the apps. However, all of the apps are up to date and the only working solution I have for YouTube is to drop the quality from 2160p to 1440p. That's not something I can do on Prime and Disney +.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to resolve this?
