A9S Software update

Hi there, i was wondering whether in the future Sony will decide to give the KD48A9 a software update to include the variable refresh rate feature?

I was also wondering what the lag input of this TV is when aimed at gaming? I can't find research for it anywhere. I've seen the number 19ms but whether that's official or not beats me.

Would help if anyone could clarify this, thank you.

Hi Josh,

There might be an option for a software update in future but I cannot confirm yet.

Regarding input lag there's no official data but whathifi.com attetsted that the A9 had an input of less than 19ms in game mode: https://www.whathifi.com/reviews/sony-kd-48a9-48-inch-oled-tv
