Android to factory reset problem

Hello everyone,

I just wake up today and my android tv did not start, only a red led blinking six times. I follow the instructions I found in the support for hard reset, I pressed the correct buttons, the green led appeared but it is over two hours and nothing happened besides the green led, neither restarting neither appeared anything on the screen.

Any help please?

Red flashing lights is always bad news. It will be a hardware failure which will require a repair. You should contact Sony Support for your Country or Region. What is the full model number of your TV? With a bit of luck it will still be in warranty.

Hopefully I bought 5 years support. It is 2019 model kd-55xg8505. I have already contacted them, I just wanted to know if it is a software issue that I can fix in order to avoid the 7-10 days procedure.

You can try a forced reset for the TV, but if it didn't help you will need to send it for repair I'm afraid.
