Digital audio out

Recently purchased Sony Bravia KD55XF9005 TV and HT-G700 sound bar, just wondering what would be the best setting for the audio output on the TV in the digital audio out settings. 

Should I choose Auto 1, Auto 2 or PCM to get the best out of my soundbar.

HT-G700 is a 3.1 soundbar connected via ARC HDMI haven't connected the optical cable.

PCM is stereo and by definition will not make use of your 3.1 channels, the other options (don't remember the difference, but the description should tell you better) are only available if there are compatibility issues.
