Google assistant volume
I’ve just purchased an AF8 and I’ve manged to iron out the major issues I was having but I can’t seem to find a way to control the google assistant volume, as soon as I ask something of google it doesn’t turn down the original tv sound (it’s on a surround sound system), but instead massively shouts above the original volume, enough to take your face off is there a way to a) control the volume of the shouty one b) lower the tv sound / mute the sound whilst she’s speaking, like Alexa does with Sonos.
Thanks I’m advance, yours with bleeding ears ...Matt.

Hi Matt,
Welcome to the community.
There are some FAQ guides for using Google Assistant here that may be useful.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Ed

I have the same issue as well. The link supplied does not address the issue. Simply put, Sony should offer a setting to adjust the Google assistant volume relative to the Sony TV volume.

Hi,
I have just updated the tv to Oreo 8.0 (which I had to sideload via USB stick as the auto update hasn’t come through yet on the TV.) but that cured the issue for me, she now whispers to me.
