In the last few days my TV Hub app has stopped working. I've done the usual things, turned off and powered down the TV re-started. (it was already up to date with no outstanding updates waiting). I have disabled and then re-enabled the app it is running the latest version (as of 24 July 2021) version 1.62.24+33
The app will open and I can select programs, I then get the usual run of adverts but when these finish the program fails to start.
As the TV Hubcap is buried in the Sony Select app I can even delete it and download from Google Play.
Any suggestions apart from buy a new TV and avoid Sony.

Same for me.
Been on to Sony support today.
Had me do a complete factory reset to solve the issue.... didn't work.
Now awaiting phone call to come back to see alternative fix or maybe raise with senior tech team to see whether they have an issue.
Same here.
Went through various options and still not working.
It got to 6pm and my web chat got cut off before I finished the last thing to try as the online chat facility closes at 6pm!!
Just had a Sony 'bot' ask me to indicate which solution worked. Well, obviously there is still no solution. I still can not get ITV to work on my Sony TV.
I won't bother getting another Sony TV, the support is non existent.

Now been advised to do another factory reset but following instructions as below:-
Your patience is highly appreciated.
Please ty the below as a work around to have this resolved, and this will reset your TV to its factory settings:
1-Unplug the TV power cord from the electrical socket.
2-Simultaneously, press and hold down the Power and Volume Down (-) buttons on the TV (not on the remote), and while holding the buttons, plug the power cord back in. Continue to hold the buttons down until a green LED light appears near the Sony logo on the TV front. It will take approximately 10-30 seconds for the LED light to turn green.
3-Release the buttons after the green LED light appears. If the white LED light doesn't turn green within 30 seconds, start over from step 1.
4-Wait a few minutes for the Factory Data Reset to complete. The TV will restart twice, and eventually, the welcome screen will appear. After the factory reset process completes, the TV will start the Initial Setup.
Please let us know the outcome.
Should you have any further questions, please feel free to reply to this e-mail.
Thank you for your enquiry.
Will let you know if it works.
I've been checking this one around, even noticed in on other sites, but it seems that it's related to the broadcaster and right now it's supposed to be fixed. Based on your reaction I guess not?
Just tried and ITV Hub is still not loading the programme after finishing the adverts. Bit reluctant to do another factory reset if it is Sony just ticking boxes over making a response within 7 days.
Well for now yea I would recommend just wait a bit and hold off another reset, and check with them in a week's time. Hope it's sorted soon buddy.
