I am using my TV's built in satellite tuner to receive satellite signal. This means I do not have a separate decoder box (e.g. a Sky Q box) like I would if I was subscribed to a TV service. In my old set up I split the signal coming from my Sky decoder box and sent it to my TV and also to a TV in another room (by HDMI).
Now that I am not using a separate box I am not able to split the HDMI signal. I am wondering is there a way to turn one of the HDMI ports to a "Video Out" connection so that it would send whatever is on screen to a TV in another room by HDMI?
Hi @kexom1
I'm afraid you will have to treat yourself to a Freesat box to replicate your old setup. The new 4K boxes can use the wideband LNBs compatible with Sky Q and can record 4 programmes at once. Your KD-49XE9005 does not have any facility to output HDMI video.
