I have recently bought this TV and have not had thoose issues before.
How come the picture quallity is bad?
Same Show different TV's The first one here is from KD-55X8505C
Built-in Netflix app TV picture settings standard. Network connection over ethernet
This is taken from a LG-LW550W - (same as LG-LW5500) from PS3 Netflix app
The PS3 is connected to WiFi so runing on a slower connection, but still better picture.
How come. I guess it should be better on the new Sony TV?
Would i have to get a faster internet connection to get a better picture on the Sony TV
or are there some settings, tweaks im missing here?
I have also tried to play the same video file from a PS4 on the Sony TV. Same issues.
What are im missing? Is this really a crap TV like many people are saying?
Cheers.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I was almost 100% certain that the issue was relates to my ISP and not the TV itself. Having problems with download speed goes up and down...
But then I tried some different things myself, and...
Well this is what I found out.
Picture mode Custom and the one on top of Custom and you get this result:
Then if you choose almost any other of the picture modes you get this result 🙂
I did at last, figure out what setting it was making this grainy picture!! REALITY CREATION
so in this case you have to set it in OFF mode.
I also found this link http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x850c
with a guide to recommended TV settings i guess this also can be used on KD-55X8505C.
