Sony Premium Remote: Where to buy?

Hi, I recently purchased a Sony BRAVIA KD43XH8196BU that came with a premium remote which I believe is model SONY RMF-TX600E. I ended up returning this TV and upgraded to the Sony BRAVIA KD49XH9505BU but surprisingly it came with a standard remote RMF-TX500E.

The RMF-TX600E is a far better remote and would like to know if it’s compatible with the Sony BRAVIA KD49XH9505BU and if so, where can I purchase it?

I believe that that there’s a premium backlit version RMF-TX611E as well but again I’m struggling to find OEM stockists. 

Your advice/suggestions are most welcomed

I have seen the RMF-TX600E remote on Ebay but not the backlit version.

As all XG and XH 9505's currently share the same Firmware I suspect the premium remote would work with a 49".

Worst case, if it didn't work you could return it for a full refund on Ebay.

thanks for the reply. I just came across one on Amazon as well. I think I’ll give it a try but always apprehensive as to whether I’m purchasing oem or fake. Not sure why remotes are so hard to come by and why Sony doesn’t sell direct or have a publicly known reseller.

If they are the metallic clad premium models I doubt they are fake. Its the cheaper plastic versions they copy.

Even on Ebay the "OEM" versions of the metallic model are circa £50.
