Hi All I've got a sony KD-55AG8 TV
Just lately while using the ITV hub app the sound has stopped.
I switch back to TV and still no sound.
I have to do a soft reset to get it back.
I have checked the fireware and TV is up to date.
Has anybody got any ideas.

The TV software is PKG6.7165.0360EUA.
And I have got no sound bar.

Did you try a power cycle?
Hi, What is a power cycle ?, and how do you go about doing one.

Hey Phil, unplugging everything from the mains for two minutes then testing again.
I turn off and unplugged TV for 2 mins plus, and up to now it has seemed to work. Fingers crossed 🤞
I will monitor it and let you know if it has cured the problem.
