my two-cents on this topic:

 

NEVER click on ANY link in an email asking you to verify your account details or log-in to avoid your account to be deactivated!

 

Always navigate to the page of the service yourself, log in there and verify for yourself, whether there are any actions needed for your account.

Somehow and for some reason in the past you must have created an Account that you have not used for a long time, if you want to keep it go ahead otherwise no.

i bought a sonny tv 1.5 month ago, nothing before.

will i have some restrictions of support or other things by not having that account?

For this Account, click on Sony in the top left, then MENU three dashes > My Products, and find out...
