With the new device, after 2 months of faultless operation, the sound suddenly becomes bad (distorted, bubbling) and the image and sound are no longer synchronized. It works most of the time when it is switched on, but then it gets worse and worse over time. The picture is faster, the sound is lagging behind and is bad. The problem occurs both with antenna reception and with apps such as YouTube. But it is most pronounced https://nox.tips/ https://xender.vip/ with the Horizon Box, especially when playing back recordings.
I have the model Oled KD-55A87, the Horizon box, an HDMI high speed cable. The cable connection is from Unitymedia, now Vodafone. I use the TV speakers and have connected the antenna and the Horizon Box with the HDMI cable via HDMI 3 (eARC / ARC).
I connected the Horizon Box to another TV without any problems. I also replaced the HDMI cable, to no avail. So it must be the TV set.
I was already in contact with Sony Service by phone. The apps spontaneously improved, but unfortunately not in the long run.
To whom does my problem mean something and is there something I can do myself?
Hi Roberto,
This problem is most likely caused by the TuneIn and/or HBO app.
Please remove these apps and check if the problem persists.
