x85c Television - HDMI 2.0
Hi there.
When my x85c arrives will I need to use HDMI 2.0 cables for superior quality when connected to Sky+HD and PS4?
Or will I get the same results as standard HDMI cables?
Thanks

HDMI 2.0 is needed only for 4K sources, you should not have any difference with FullHD sources..

Thanks - But what about the upscaling? Will having an HDMI 2.0 cable help with that? I am guessing not, but you never know.

Sonme PS4 games are 60fps. Won't I need an HDMI 2.0 cable to support this 60fps?

Full HD at 60p is supported even from HDMI 1.0 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI#Version_2.0
HDMI2.0 is the only able to support 60fps for 4K. Whene PS4 born, HDMI didn't even exist

Regarding the upscaling, it's done by the TV on the output coming from the source... it doesn't rely on the cable.
In any case, since you have a 4K tv and maybe in the future you'll buy some 4K device (a camcorder, a media player....etc.) you may want to buy an HDMI2.0 cable in any case
