Phone restarting when someone sends a message with = sign

I HAVE BEEN FACING THIS PROBLEM OF PHONE RESTARTING WHEN ANYONE SENDS ME A MESSAGE WITH = SIGN. WHEN A SMS IS SENT FROM.ANOTHER PHONE WITH = CHARACTER MY PHONE JUST RESTARTS. Plz let me know if anyone else is facing this problem WIth Xperia c

Have known that this glitch is only for phones with mediatek processor

Boot in safe mode and see if the same occurs:
