Hi! I'm going to buy CX250E handycam camcoder, but i have few questions. On this film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkCDzI0W7Jk&feature=related the camera is emmiting strange noises. Are they from auto fosus/ zoom/ image stabilization? If they are from IS can i disable optical image stabilization, and still have electronic IS? If i'll add external microphone will i hear that noise?
Secound question is abt mounting... a microphone. This camera haven't got any hot shoe or slt. Where can i mount it, and how?

Hi Piotr, welcome to the Sony Forums
You right is assuming those are normal operating noises from the camera; in that clip, mostly from the operator, as hands move around the camera body. The IS noise is comparatively low-level.
You're also correct in assuming an external mic would significantly improve this performance in all repects. The CX250E doesn't have a built-in Accesory Shoe (this is available on slightly higher-specified models) but you can use a 55LH 'cold shoe' accesory holder with a stereo minijack-equipped mic, which plugs into the camera's A/V port.
Cheers
Mick
