DCR-HC19E not compatible with Windows Vista.

My Handycam DCR-HC19E is not comaptible with Windows Vista. What can i do t fix it?

It is only the supplied Picture Package 1.5 software that is incompatible with Vista and Windows 7. 

Instead, download and install Picture Motion Browser.  You can download PMB Ver.4.3.03 from the following link: -

iLink compatibility has also been tested with Windows Movie Maker.

Hi robarmst2 and welcome.

There have been a few changes in the last 8 years! I think it is now Version 5.5.01.

yes there has been a lot of changes in the last 8 years. thanks for the reply. everything i have tried says "requires windows 7 or later". and i`m afraid that link was the same. but thanks anyway.
