My Mac cannot read the videos recorded on my Sony HDC-SD60 camera, why? It used to work

Desperatly need to find out. I'm in the middle of filming my AS Media project and am going to the Sinai desert soon and wish to use my camera there.

Isn't the HDC-SD60 a PANASONIC camcorder?

What cable are you using and are you using iMovie on the Mac to view the video?

Ah your completely right it is Panasonic. But I havn't used a cable I eject the SD card and plug it into my Mac. Ye iMovie and Adobe Premier Elements at times as well.

It has worked before but for some reason it doen't anymore. I've tried using multiple SD cards and it's not just my computer is hasn't worked on.
