TR105E No Display?

Hi all,

I recently found my families old CCD-TR105E video 8 camcorder and would like to play some old family videos however, when turned on the only thing that shows on the viewfinder is a vertical white line.

I have attached a picture of the line, if anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

Hi quaze95,

Unfortunately it looks like a broken viewfinder with missing horizontal deflection.

I would suggest to connect the camcorder to a TV using the video out terminal of the camcorder.
