Hi. I have Xperia E4G (E2003). I have some multitouch issues here. I noticed that when I wanted to play Modern Combat 5 game. I have downloaded multitouch tester and when I use 2 (or more) fingers sometimes one of the touch input start to flash (while I'm moving it) or totally vanishes. It also happens at system using. I took a screenshot. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8VvjG01sksqUUFiaGFDbnZ0S1k/view?pli=1 I cannot normaly use my phone... Is this software or hardware problem? This guy has similar problem http://androidforums.com/threads/multi-touch-problem.918557/

I've tested it only in Order&Chaos Online. Multitouch works great in this game. Before update i was able to use only 1 finger at once (2 fingers very rarely). Also in multitouch tester i have no problems now (up to 4 fingers). I've updated via PC Companion. The update appeared yesterday for Play GSM at Poland (I think so...). But I've also found .ftf file in the Internet. Here it is http://www.xperiasite.pl/topic/17484-e2003-250a214-nordic/ But as I know ours E4G is not supported by flashtool yet...

I am aware that updates are usually carrier dependent unless a Google device. So perhaps o2 will update us soon.

You should enable internet connection and go to settings -> about -> system info -> system update. Then you will know if you have an update available. But you will need PC to update your phone. It's not OTA update.

I'm having the same issues with my e4g as well. I've only had my phone for a month but it's my 2nd e4g phone within a month. This is the first time I've purchased the Sony brand of mobile phones. The multi-touch is BEYOND frustrating! I've tried everything with it. It is definitely quite scratchy where it looks like it jumps around quite a lot.
Looking at this discussion forum, it seems like it's an issue with this range of phones. I've never had this issue before with other brands. I still have the receipt but I definitely don't want to get charged a fee just to get it looked at before the repairs go ahead. It will also leave me without a phone as well.
What is Sony doing to resolve this issue, please? Thank you 🙂
