Hi, when you connect the Reader to your PC what happens on the Reader screen?
Does the LED come on RED?
Do you have any display on the screen?
It should advise show USB in top Left corner and a cable symbol in middle of the screen, if this is not visiable, disconnect the Reader from the cable, try to turn the unit on so amber light flashes, if it will not turn on, leave connected to PC for about 30mins and try again, once it can turn on connect to PC again while it is still on, all should work ok.
