Got a Prs- 600.

Hi can any one help with my PRS600 ereader. I was given a sony 4gb pro duo magic gate mark 2 memory stick with loads of books on. I cannot access the books, the reader seems to say that no card is inserted. Am i doing something wrong or is this not the right type of card to be used.?
