Reader Library not link to online e book shops

When I click on any of the links to the on line shops to buy e books an error message appears "this file does not have a program associated with it"

Can anyone tell me what the file type is so that I can set it in the control panel to open with firefox.

OK I'l just answer this myself. I installed some trial software which piggybacked Google Chrome onto my PC, Chrome set itslf up as my default browser so when I uninstalled it, I had no default browser set. Setting a default borwser has solved the problem.
