I know I am a thicky but what cable is required to join 2 CDP CX355 together to work as a single unit as I have tried using the audio cable out to in but that doesn't work? What do I need to do I know this is a silly question and the units are old school but as I am a pensioner they are not old school to me.

Looking at the user guide (LINK) for your CDP-CX355 I believe a Control A1 cable would allow you to connect your two devices..
