Blu Ray BDP-S1200 never asked for LAN Password
I bought and installed a Blu Ray BDP-S1200. Everything is working well and it has Internet access. I can watch Youtube, listening to radios, etc. It is well connected to my home network. But something is verry strange. Why I dindn't have to enter my LAN Password to connect to my network? I have never entered it. Is it safe?
Regards,

Since your bluray can be connected to the LAN just using a cable, there is no security control that should be applied to such a connection. Password is required only to connect wirelessly to the router (since it is expected that none will access your home to connect to your router using a cable
