Hi, I bought a panasonic tx-l55et60b and sony bdv-n590
I used a hdmi cable and connected it from the arc from the blu ray player to the tv arc port.The surround sound will work for blu ray and dvds but i want the surround sound to work for the TV in General... so for freeview and the apps on the tv like youtube
Please help ive been stuck on this for ages !!!

Hi there

First you need to check your TV settings to ensure sound is outputted externally.  Then on the N590, you need to set the SOURCE to "TV" as stated on page 19 of the manual : HERE
