Moving from: sony dav dz340k To E3100 .. not kinda satisfied !!

Hi

i jus bought Sony 3100 home theater for another place .. I used to use sony dav dz340k Model for long time and I was happy with it .. but when I compare it to the new one I feel like the new one is kinda weaker! And the voice is not the same feel lik it's very sharp

-is it beacuse some settings that I need to do ?

- or beacuse the speakers itself

beacuase I find out that the watt power not the same in every speaker like the older one!

in the 340k every speaker has 167w  x 6 = 1000w

but here in the E3100 front and surround only have 125w each ! 

And the center and subwoofer 250w

125x4 250x2 = 1000w 

its written like that in specification in the website

- is that mean I should lower the center and subwoofer voice more and increase the others ?

-also I'm connecting th theater to a samsung tv using HDMI ARC Port .. is it better or I should use optical ? If hdmi is better is the cable came with the theater itself enough when playing Remux movies which have great sound quality like atmos and dts-hd etc.

Tried the manual it's helpful but not fully..

I just want an answer for this now 

In sound effect option:

should i change anything to dts bro or Dolby logic to get this format when I play Remux movies which I do by connecting HDD Via the samsung tv .. or I should leave it in sound mode and the system will automatically play any audio version when it's available if it's supported ?

I can see that this is a 2013 model so I assume that you bought it second hand. Are you sure that it is in good condition and working properly. I can also see that there was a new firmware update made available on 05/03/2019.

Yeah I know it's kinda old model

but as I know these are the models still available from Sony since I want only small size speakers with 1000W

- And yes I'm sure it's new device never been used before I bought it from Sony official store.

- yesterday I updated the system to the newer version .. sound seems better after some editing in setting 

I just want to know now if need to change anything in ( sound effect )

should i I leave it in sound mode ? Or change to DTS neo or Dolby
