Slightly confused by this.. I rang currys and also sky each saying other one is to blame. I have a recently purchased a sony soundbar model sony sa-ct290 I also bought 4k panasonic tv... If i have optical cable in tv and use smart tv to watch youtube or iplayer the sound is perfect, If i watch sky with the optical cable in sky and to soundbar its fine. However if i have optical in tv to soundbar to watch sky then their is a speech delay. I have gone into sky q settings and tried audio delay settings but nothing. On tv i have tried HDMI audio settings options i have is Auto/PCM/bitstream ( no idea what the diff is ) their is pcm optiical level 0 to -10 but that doesnt help and both dont make a difference.
I hope that makes sense.... Does anyone know if soundbar has any settings to help me ? or how i get hdmi arc to work...hdmi to tv arc doesnt work. Wonder if their is a different setting
