DOES ANY UPDATE FIXES TOUCH ISSUE?

My phone model is sk17i, Build number is 4.0.2.A.0.58.

When I connect it to my pc I'm asked to update it to 4.0.2.A.0.62 firmware.

What are the steps?Will it delete the Android system?

My phone gets heated and the touch doesn't respond until it cools down.Plz,I need urgent help.:smileysad:

You can update by using the Update Service portal on PC Companion. You will be guided through the steps. The issue with the touch screen might be hardware related. If it continues after the update I recommend that you contact your local Sony Mobile support center to inquire about repair options. i've bought it from usa and using it permanently in Bangladesh. here are no service centers for sony ericsson.it's gone about 2years ago.there are numerous sony ericsson users in this country but why isn't any authorized dealer and customer service here???:smileysad:

A doubt in my mind: Even i have faced touch and battery related issues with my Active.. Now i have already repaired my phone twice through PC Companion, first time to resolve battery drain issue and secondly to solve Touch Not Responding problem. Have not got chance to visit Service Center yet..

My question is: Is there any difference in updating/repairing your s/w from Update Service comapred to PC Companion? My both the problems are still alive..
