what is the function of the additional files? do I really need to use them?

If you wan't all the extra functions,, for example equaliser

If you just wan't the music player then only the apk is enough

well I installed soundenhancer.apk and I got the equalizer, but what are the other files functions?

and is it possible if I want to uninstall this music player?

Other functions are changing background colours

Yes you can uninstall it anytime, settings > applications > all > walkman player > uninstall updates

Rooting is required,

if you root then i will make it easier for you..

im not sure on rooting my phone because im a newbie on this and im afraid i'll brick my phone..

Someone have the original music player installer? Installed walkman but mine isnt rooted, so no equalizer 😕
