Override update via wireless only

Hi! New Xperia S owner here.

I was just wondering - is the no way I can override the software updates so they can update over my mobile network?  I want to update my software but as I am at work have no access to wireless and can't update using my computer!!

Some updates can be done FOTA (firmware over the air) but not all. It's mainly down to the size of the update and how big a update it is. If it technically speaking can be solved so it can be done FOTA, we always try to do that.

If you're at work and cannot install PC Companion or Update Service you maybe can update using the Xperia Update instead? All you need is Java, an internet browser and a working internet connection.
