Problem after the update for ICE 6\6\2012

There are some errors after the update Such as:

1. when I try to put a picture as the background screen through "Xperia Gallry" seizure and is not just that the screen blinks and nothing happens.
2. Can not crop  the images through "Xperia Gallry"
3. Some errors in "Browser"

I want to root it now how ?

Hi there.

I would suggest you to format your SD card and reinstall ICS as follows

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

• Put 4.0.3 firmware in the firmwares folder and flash it using the following settings

i don't have 4.0.3 firmware

where can i do to download it?

No problem

You just have to flash the kernel, it's the same

after you flash 4.0.3 kernel, root your arc, after rooting download 4.0.4 rom for arc ( not arc s ) and flash 4.0.4 kernel back
