problem in updating

hi, im having a problem on updating my phone (Xperia ray), i tried to update it using pc companion., but its not successful, it is already in number 3(update), then it suddenly stop and said that there was problem occured, i unplug the cable and try to open it, but it did not open, please help me.. please

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

can i ask another question?..how can i restore it old setting if the update will not be successful?

if update would be successful or unsuccessful, in both the cases, settings would remain unchanged

the settings at present would remain as it is ( both cases)

can you elaborate?

do you see a exclamation mark inside a yellow triangle? if that's so just use SUS and repair it

what happened ?, when happened ?, what did you do? please elaborate
again use SUS or flashtool (link by uliwooly)

but this time you may loose all settings and phone data .
