Problems with ICS 4.0.4

Hi there

I use an Xperia mini pro SK17i which had an original gingerbread 2.3.4 and I've now got android 4.0.4.....which has been showing quite a few problems...I was wondering if anyone has similar issues and how you've solved them....so here goes

1. there's no overview mode....when i pinch it just shows a blank screen with exit overview at the bottom...no floating widgets..

2. Many of my apps which are internet based now only work via wifi and not my network...they keep saying...cannot connect to proxy server...this didnt happen with gingerbread...

3. Sucks up the battery really quickly...

thats it i guess, my games , keyboard and LED are fine...

Suggestions anyone? especially for No. 2.....its my main issue with ics....

Have you checked if you're network provider uses proxy when using their mobile network? If they do you can just clear the window for proxy in the Internet settings and hopefully the apps facing the issue you mention will be solved.

You can clear the proxy window by following the menu steps below.

Settings - More - Mobile network - Click on the Internet profile - Proxy - Clear the window if there's any info - Save
