External speakers with my KDL-37EX503

Not even rec'd yet (delivering tomorrow) but first question I have for you guys is can I connect a pair of external speakers to this set to enhance the stereo whilst playing my music DVD's via the HDMI connected Tosh VHS/DVD combi? thanks

If you have a hi-fi or surround sound amp with an optical audio input then you could output the sound from the tv using an optical cable.

the TV doesn't have stereo RCA or headphone outputs you could use with simple powered speakers.
