freeview updates

I have just purchased a new bravia kdl-40ex403 tv with built in feeview HD.Will my tv do an auto update on any new freeview channels or will i have to manually install these?

Yes you have to manually re-scan for channels as channels come and go every now and then.

Yes it works,using auto update in the set up menu it scans channels again and should include any updates-takes about 5 mins.As tv is approx 2 weeks old, i think i already had latest channels.
