Im new to flatpanels and sony products

I have a question since im a noob to all this.

I bought a sony kdl32ex710 today.

i have 24 analog chanels and around 40'ish digital chanels.

My question is: do I have to switch between analog & digital mode when im changing channels all the time ? or is there a smart mode or something so the telly will change automatic as i scroll through my channels. ?

You have two tuners inside your TV.

1 - Analogue - signal will be turned off at some point in the future then this tuner will be redundent.

2 - Freeview Digital - The Standard Definintion viewing format for the UK today.

Whichever tuner you are using for viewing now when you change channel that same tuner will remain in use until you decide to swap over.
