KD-49XE7003 intermittent distorted sound

When I change channel the sound is sometimes distorted until I change to another channel and then back to the channel I want. This happens intermittently on any channel. I have a Sony   DVD Recorder RDR-DC100 attached via HDMI cable. Any suggestions as to how to correct this please.

I have reset the sound settings and so far everything seems ok. Time will tell. Thanks for the advice.
