KDL32W653A 'forgets' registered USB stick

Our new KDL32W653A accepts, registers and records on the USB stick we bought for it. For no apparent reason and without warning it keeps dropping the USB so when you got to record it says the stick is not registered and you have to go round the loop again. Any suggestions?

Hi there

 

A couple of (well not suggestions) but..

  • Is the USB drive in the correct USB port on the TV (labeled HDD REC)?
  • Is the USB drive greater than 32GB?
  • Have you tried another USB Drive?
  • What happens when you do a HDD Performance Check on it?
