Linking iPod with 32EX403

I have the Apple Component connection lead, and have connected the 5 plugs into the rear of the tv as per the colour codes.

Have selected Component with the handset, but am only getting sound with no picture.

I've tried it on 3 different models of the iPod and also an iPad, but the result is the same.

So the question is "What am I doing wrong"?

Sounds to me like you've got a faulty component cable.   If you do a search on the internet for the symptoms, you'll see other people have had the same issue.  Solutions vary from checking the TV out settings on the iPod to rebootng the iPod once connected, however one guy said he went back to his Apple store and had to try a couple of their component cables before they found a set that worked.
