Short-term loss of sound when TV connected through HDMI

I have a Sony Bravia KDL 46EX710 Television. When I connect the laptop to the TV using hdmi, there is a short-term, intermittent loss of sound duration 1-3 seconds every 3-5 minutes.
But if I use a standart Jack 3,5 mm or RCA cable, the sound is all right.

Hi

Is it a faulty cable, have you tried another HDMI to confirm if its at fault? The TV will just broadcast what its being sent from the laptop, so if you have access to another computer, maybe see if it behaves the same when connected to a friends computer also?

Could do with isolating the issue first of all as there are lots of variables still at the moment

Thanks

Another cable behaves the same when connected to my computer, i am trying another computer in the next week. I can also say that I tried it on another TV bravia, the model does not remember, but 52 inches, with this laptop and this cable, there were the same problems((

I connected my laptop to another TV and sound was normal. So it is the problem of my TV (does not HDMI cable or laptop).
