Wireless connection to network system

Hi,

I recently brought a KDL40 EX403u. I went to set up the network for a wireless connection but it says that it cannot see any and to connect a usb adaptor. I have a wireless router and my laptop has no problem picking it up in the same room. As far as I can see from the paperwork and recource help the TV should pick up the router wireless signal and allow me to set up a WPS connection without any additional hardware ie USB adaptor.

Any comments, do I still need an adaptor?

The TV doesn't have integrated wi-fi, So, you'd need to buy specifically the Sony wireless dongle to get this to work.
