FZ21M Built in speakers don't work

Hi, I have recently noticed my speakers have stopped working.... the soundcard is working fine through headphones and HDMI but no sound will come out of the laptop speakers.... any ideas? or similar probs.. let me know! Cheers.

Have you recently updated the SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC Driver 6.10.5614.0.?

If so have you checked audio settings have not been reset to factory defaults.?

To change the default audio settings, do the following..

Click Start, then Control Panel.

Click Hardware and Sound, then Manage Audio Devices.

In the sound window click on Playback or Recording tabs to change audio settings..
