Fingerprint Recognition not working.

I have done all the usual things , cleaning the sensor, re starting, 

The phone has shown at times the notice the ' Finger print recognition hardware not working" .

I will not allow me to delete my current fingerprint.

Last thing I want to do is return the phone to Factory Settings.

Any help appreciated

Hi it's an Xperia 1 lV around 3 years old , fully up to date .

Fingerprint Recognition hardware not Available is still coming up.

Hallo,

bei mir ist genau das selbe Problem aufgetreten - aber erst nach einem Software-Update.

Ein Neustart hilft manchmal, manchmal aber auch nicht.

Alle andere Möglichkeiten aus dem Netz helfen nicht oder treffen nicht zu.

Ein komplettes Zurücksetzen lehne ich ab, da ich zu viel sichern müßte und es scheint ja zwischendurch nach Lust und Laune nach einem Neustart zu funktionieren.

Gibt es Neuigkeiten von Sony, woran es liegen könnte?
