Alarm ringtone never changes after 4.2.2 update

Hi,

I recently updated my phone(xperia L) to 4.2.2, which currently has lot of bugs(**which i was unaware before update).Few bugs support forum did help me to solve, but one bug which i am unable to solve.Please help if any one knows.

Issue:Alarm ringtone never changes although it shows different ringtone in the alarm settings page.I always hear a beep sound at the lowest of the volume.

Hi

To change alarm ringtone you should crate a alarm/clock widget, click on alarm, pick an alarm --> advanced alarm settings --> and here is 2 options:

1. --> unselect Style settings and pick third option from the top "Alarm sound" or

2. --> tap on Style settings--> create new and there you can chose your own wallpaper, sound and name.

Done

P.S.

You have always pick Apply/Accept after changing antything, pressing home or back you don't save anything

Hi,

I have the same problem. I thing its related with turn on/off ringing tones or profiles. The Alarm Style is just weak "beep beep" and phone is vibrating. Doesnt mether if you have checked Allarm style ot just ringing tone.
Once it occured and you are going to Alarm style, ist not possible play any Alarm style. You can hear just "beep beep". Even create new one - just beep beep.

Sometimes it repaired w/o any interaction (morning just beep beep, after lunch it works correctly).
After reboot phone its ok every time.

Its realy problem - alarm MUST wake up! Not just time to time.

Any advice?

Hey,

The latest update (build no 15.3.A.1.14) solved the problem.

I used to face this issue when i changed the sound profile (most of the time i used to mute the  sound for any game), the only solution which solved my issue was restrating the phione after i change any sound profile of the game.

Ok, a bit different one i've got.
The phone does not vibrate. Although the setting are correct: tick on "vibration" and normal sound profile. That's a big problem for me!
